Nuno Castro – Born in Porto, he graduated in Business Management at the Portuguese Catholic University (Porto) and has a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management and Investment at PBS (Porto Business School). For most of his professional career, he has been involved in real estate projects, developing business plans and financial viability studies, namely: Student Residences, Senior Residences and Tourism Accommodation units. Self-taught and versatile by nature, he has several skills that complement his training in various operational areas, from digital marketing, web design, content management, data analysis and research. Entrepreneurship, the search for new opportunities and forms of business are the areas that most fascinate him.
Margarida Palmeira – Has a degree in Education, a postgraduate in Child and Youth Law a postgraduate in management of social organizations and an intensive banking course for recent graduates (Banking Training Institute, Porto). Member of the Ministry of Justice’s List of Conflict Mediators since 8/5/2010. PhD in Child Studies, specialty of Child Sociology. Professional experience in the area of education / training and in the social area.
Guilherme Guedes Graduated in Hotel Management from the Porto School of Tourism, started his professional activity in 1984 in the area of distribution and importation in a company based in Congo Brazzaville. In 1989 he began a new experience in the Hospitality sector as Head of Reception, Assistant Director and Commercial Director (for 12 years from 1989 to 2001) at the “Hotel Tuela” and “Hotel Tuela Torre” in Porto. From 2001 to 2003 he was Managing Director of the “Hotel Fenix Porto” and “Hotel Tuela”, and from May 2003 to August 2008, he was COO of the “Hotel Phoenix Group”. In September 2008, he assumed the General Director office of “Hotel Amadeos” and “Hotel da Estação” until April 2015. Since 2015, he has started a new professional stage, moving to the area of tourism and technology solutions consulting, assuming the role of “Business Senior Consultant”.
Fabiana Coelho – She has a degree in Social and Cultural Communication from the Portuguese Catholic University, a postgraduate degree in Business Management from Porto Business School and in Political Communication from the University of Porto. He obtained a master’s degree in Communication Sciences, in a joint study cycle of the Faculties of Engineering, Arts, Letters and Economics of the University of Porto, where he defended the thesis “Big Data: Sources, Uses, Consequences”, obtaining 18 values unanimously. Her areas of interest are Digital, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. She is a consultant, teacher, researcher and specialist in Communication and Marketing.
Elisabeth Ribeiro – Graduated in Law from the Universidade Portucalense and has a postgraduate degree in Strategic Human Resources Management. Completed three subjects of the Integrated Master in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. Has the International Coaching Certification and is certified in DISC Behavioral Analysis. It was the behavioral area that devoted his professional life. He was at different consulting companies where he developed and implemented projects to improve the performance of work teams. He was responsible for the business unit of Psicoforma in Porto and later assumed the Director of Human Resources at UPTEC. She has been a trainer since 2000, with over 19 years of experience. She has a special love for travel, sports and photography.
Abdou António Farah – Has been hospitality professional for 31 years. He worked in large hotel developments in Brazil, such as Rede Bourbon, Sotero Hotel and Rede Mabu, where he was also responsible for the implementation and management of Mabu Resorts Foz do Iguaçu. Complements his expertise with extensive international experience: management and consulting for companies in Boston/US and acting as Chancellery Officer at the Brazilian embassies of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Iraq. Fluent in English and Arabic and with advanced conversation in Spanish, has in his communication with his interlocutors one of the strengths of his performance. The vast know-how developed enables him to lead and organize large multidisciplinary teams, managing vital areas such as A&B, reception, governance, administration and maintenance. It also stands out for its strong performance in the commercial area of the project, collaborating in a fundamental way in the area of sales and disclosure.
Paulo Masagão Ribeiro
Paulistano, is a mechanical production engineer graduated from the University of São Paulo. In 1986 he began his career at Manasa Madeireira Nacional S.A. (advisor to the Presidency from 1986-1989), and since then he has worked for several companies; assuming the financial administrative direction: Técnico Corretora – Planejamento e Assessoria Ltda (1990-1998); Tasty Comercial – Importação e Exportação Ltda. until (1993-1998) and Cadal – Importação e Exportacão Ltda. (1998-2000). From 1998-2000 he worked in international trade at government level and was also responsible for the administration of the project of Brazilian cultural presentations at Expo 98, in Portugal. In 2000, he went to JMP Marketing Produções e Comunicações Ltda., also as Chief Financial Officer, until 2002.
In 2002, he started at Banco Indusval S/A, Management control, accumulating the position (in 2008) of director of Indusval S.A. Securities Brokerage, a subsidiary of the Bank, was in both until 2019.
In 2004, he joined the Fiscal Council of a philanthropic entity “Arrastão – Movimento de Promoção Humana”, where in 2012 he assumed the position of Treasurer Director, in 2019, he ceased to be Treasurer Director assuming the Presidency.
Undergraduated in Journalism from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, with specialization in Corporate Education from Senac-SP and in Group Development from SBDG (Sociedade Brasileira de Dinâmica dos Grupos).
Lígia has 12 years of experience in the Organizational Development area, having worked for large multinational companies and consultancies. She was also 4 years dedicated to the commercial and business development area.
With a multidisciplinary profile and great pleasure in dealing with projects, she is always looking for challenges in which she can learn about new areas of knowledge and act in an innovative way.
She feels particularly fulfilled when dealing with projects related to the areas of education, cultural diversity and behavioral learning.
Telma Hirata graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and specialized in Contract and Corporate Law from the Law School of the University of Minho. Member of the Brazilian Bar Association since 1992 and of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2011. In Portugal, in addition to her solo career, she worked as a lawyer for more than 5 years at Abreu Advogados, integrating the practice areas of Commercial Law, Litigation, Arbitration and the Brazil Desk.
In Brazil, until her move to Portugal in 2010, she always practiced law, acting in several cases related to the privatizations of companies in the telecommunications, banking and energy sectors, as well as the restructuring of the petrochemical sector implemented by the Federal Government. She was also member of the Fiscal Council of a petrochemical company that founded the Petrochemical Pole of Rio Grande do Sul.
